-The number of US depositors at small and regional banks has fallen in the wake of recent turbulence within the banking sector.
-The S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Russell 2000 and Dow Jones Industrial Average all close up after Fridays trading session, recovering some of the losses taken earlier this week.
UK
-King Charles state visit to France postponed as nationwide protests continue of President Macron’s pension reforms.
Rest of the World
-The banking sector can’t seem to escape turmoil with German listed shares in Deutsche Bank (€DBK) losing around 8.53% during Fridays trading sessions, now trading at €8.54.
-German Chancellor Scholz spoke in support of Deutsche Bank on Friday afternoon in an attempt to reassure investors and market participants on the stability of the European banking system.
-Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) shares continue to fall with Swiss listed shares dropping 3.55% during the trading session.
